ISIS Restricts Procedures at the Besieged Residents of Yarmouk

In the south of the capital Damascus, news reported that ISIS imposes new restrictions on residents of Yarmouk, who are besieged in the clashes areas with the Al Nusra Front. Residents confirmed that the checkpoint of Al Madares Street (Yarmouk crossing) of ISIS prevents the people of Ain Ghazal district to enter bread, drinking water, and cartons of food aid that were provided by UNRWA in the vicinity of the camp in the town of Yalda. Residents were forced to keep the cartons with relatives outside the besieged areas inside the camp, in addition to the bread and drinking water to their homes in the fighting zones.

ISIS prevented the besieged residents to enter the food materials and their needs and put responsibility to Al Nusra front of the events take place in the besieged areas, as they demanded the residents to head to Al Jaouna area and to demand them to leave in order to solve the problem. Residents were provoked to compare ISIS provocations with the behavior of the Syrian Regime and the affiliated factions, such as the General Command and others.

Clashes and the state of hit-and-run between ISIS and Nusra in several axes in the camp are still ongoing, as well as the regular army and the GC groups are still imposing siege over the camp for (1069) days respectively, power cut for more than (1130) days, and water cut for (619) days respectively.
