The Charity Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian Refugees, in cooperation with the Islamic Relief around the World, launched the project of Physical and mental health awareness for the students of the educational program of Afaq. The project included the families of the Palestinian Syrian, the Lebanese, and the Syrian students. According to the operators of Afaq Center, the project will last till February 2017, two lectures monthly. Professional professors will deliver the lectures, which will include distribution of incentives for families, as 75 women health bags were distributed after the end of the first lecture.
Afaq educational center was opened on 5th of March 2016 at Wadi Al Zina area, al Kharoub in Lebanon. The center aims at serving the Palestinian Syrians and the Syrians who are displaced in Lebanon, and to raise the intellectual and scientific level of the Palestinian people, to be a scientific beacon shining the road of displaced Palestinian Syrian and Syrian children, and to save them from the darkness of ignorance caused by the war in Syria.
