Reuters news agency quoted from the Italian Coastguard that Italian ships helped saving more than (2600) immigrants while trying to reach Europe from North Africa in the past twenty-four hours.
The agency added that about 2,000 immigrants was rescued off the coast of Libya were on board (14) elastically and a larger boat during the rescue operations carried out by the Italian Navy and Coastguard along with MSF and an Irish naval vessel.
