Seven immigrants drowned off the Libyan coast following the sinking of a boat carrying them in the Mediterranean because of the extra payload, and in turn, the Italian Coastguard said they managed to rescue 500 refugees had drowned after they left Libya towards the Italian coasts in order to emigrate to European countries in search for safety and security and a decent life.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) quoted for immigrants have been rescued from drowning off the coast of Libya that they had seen nearly 500 refugees died at sea because of the sinking of their boat, according to the Commission 41 people from African, Syrian, and Palestinian nationalities were rescued, including three women and a 3-year-child were transferred to Kalamata in Greece.
