Jenin Sports Club south of the capital Damascus, carried out "Jenin eighth" Championship for physical strength, where youths from the Yarmouk refugee camp and surrounding areas participated in the middle of an exciting atmosphere. The championship consisted of four weights in the three games (chest, heavy weight, Squat). At the end of tournament, the club management honored the first, second, and third winners of the four weights and presented them certificates, medals, and awards.
The club also implemented football tournament for juniors several days ago under the title "Jenin tournament for football junior players." Many juniors from the Yarmouk camp and adjacent areas participated in the, while the club announced its summer activities under the title "Palestine junior course,"
The course includes swimming, gymnastics arts and skills, kickboxing, kung Fu, and football, where there was a wide participation of children and boys of the Yarmouk refugee camp displaced to neighboring areas amid encouragement from parents and those in charge of activities.
It is worth mentioning that children and young people at the Palestinian refugee camps were subjected to gross violations of arrests carried out by the Syrian security forces against them, which led to the deaths of dozens of victims as a result of starvation, lack of medical care, shelling, and sniping. In addition, the educational process stopped at many Palestinian camps, especially the besieged camps, as well as the ongoing asylum cases from one region to another and instability which put parents generally, and children, especially a tragic psychological situation.
