After being detained for about three years in the prisons of the Syrian Regime, in charges of participating in demonstrations, the Syrian security delivered the family of the Palestinian child, Mahmoud Yousef Eid Deyab, his ID papers, and informed them that he was died. The child is the youngest Palestinian victim who died due to torture in the prisons of the Syrian Regime, as he was arrested when he was only 13 years old. The child is originally from Al Shajara Palestinian village, and he resides at Al Aedein camp in Hamma.
