The Syrian regime released the Palestinian refugee "Mohammed Khair Musa Diab" after being detained for about a year and three months. He is from Khan Al Shieh camp in the western suburb of Damascus and lives in a new town near the capital.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian security targets the residents of Khan Al Shieh camp, either in or outside the camp, as they arrest residents at the checkpoints of Sehnaya and Jadedat Artouz at the entrances of the camp. The Syrian security forces are continuously harassing residents especially while leaving or entering the camp. The AGPS documented 109 detainees from the camp; most of them were arrested at the regime's checkpoints, especially Koukab checkpoint.
