The charity Committee distributed Iftar meals, within its campaign 'Kasrat Khoboz', to the Palestinian refugees in several areas of the capital Damascus and its suburb. The Committee distributed 800 Iftar meals for people who reside at Al Zahira Al Qadima, Al Qadam, Al Dahadeel, and Nahr Al Sayeda Aisha areas. The Committee also distributed 800 Iftar meals for the Palestinian refugees who fled from Yarmouk and other camps and reside at Tahir Al jazaeri School which turned into a shelter. The Committee is preparing food baskets for Ramadan to be distributed later.
It is worth mentioning that thousands of Palestinian refugees have fled from their camps, especially Yarmouk, after the regular army targeted them. Most of them are living in rented houses or schools that turned into shelters.
