Heavy artillery shelling targeted the houses of Khan Al Shieh camp in Damascus suburb on Tuesday night, and resulted in at least one victim and a number of injuries. A child, who was displaced from the neighboring towns died, in addition to at least 7 injuries, including women.
The AGPS correspondent reported that more than 7 civilians were injured by the artillery shells of the regime forces stationed at Talet Al Kabouseia area. The shelling targeted Alhuda mosque while prayers were leaving the mosque, while a resident was injured after a shell landed at one of the eastern lanes of the camp.
Meanwhile, warplanes targeted the adjacent villages and the outskirts of Khan Al Shieh camp in Damascus suburb with at least 12 explosive barrels, coincided with shelling by rockets launcher towards the regiment 137 of the regime forces, which led to a state of panic among residents, especially children.
Furthermore, residents are still suffering of living crises after the regular army closed all roads linking the camp with the center of the capital Damascus, which led to severe shortage of medical and food supplies.
