After the success of the first charity medical week, the Charity Committee launched its new project "the second charity Medical Week" for displaced people of the Yarmouk camp in neighboring towns of Yalda, Babbila, and Beit Sahem. This week, which begins on Saturday morning 18/06/2016, includes a comprehensive clinics for all medical specialties, as it will provide free treatment and appropriate medications.
The committee confirmed that repeating this medical week came as a result of the urgent need for its charity work in the Yarmouk camp due to the epidemics spread, diseases, and the scarcity of medical services and medicine. The second week is characterized by increasing the number and variety of medications, "This project is in cooperation with the Palestine Red Crescent Society and the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees.
ISIS had besieged the Yarmouk camp in April 2015 and forced hundreds of Palestinian families to leave their homes and flee to neighboring towns, and that was after the Nusra Front facilitated the control of ISIS over the besieged camp.
