Warplanes Target the Eastern Lane of Khan Al Shieh Camp with Thermobaric Weapon

Warplanes targeted the eastern lanes of Khan Al Shieh camp in Damascus suburb with thermobaric weapon, which resulted in material damages and caused a big gap in the campground. Meanwhile, warplanes launched more than 15 raid on the outskirts of the camp, which led to damage to some civilian houses in the western part of it.

The regime forces seeks to tighten the siege over Khan Al Shieh camp and close Zakia - Khan Al Shieh road, which resulted in the siege of the camp and prevent the introduction of food for the fact that this road is the only outlet to the civilians. The camp suffers of a significant rise in food prices, where a liter of oil is 900 SYP, while one kilo of sugar is 450 SYP. The high prices impacted negatively on the residents in light of the lack of financial resources, the spread of unemployment, and the ongoing Syrian security prosecutions against the residents.
