News from the Yarmouk camp reported that ISIS tried again to break into Al Ja’ona neighborhood which is controlled by Al Nusra Front. ISIS used Shelka tanks and burnt the buildings and shops in the vicinity of Lubia square near Al Ja’ouna borders.
Sources inside the camp reported that Al Nusra Front used heavy and middle weapons to fending off the invasion of ISIS and killed 20 members of ISIS, where ISIS was able to control two buildings in Al Ja’ouna neighborhood while invading Al ja’ouna from different sides.
Activists accused ISIS of coordinating with the Syrian Regime, as they confirmed that ISIS members closed Palestine Street for the second time and put a huge cover in front of the regime and the soldiers of Yarmouk municipality, they also separated the streets to tighten Al Ja’ouna neighborhood situation and to carry out its plans to withdraw from the camp in exchange for leaving Al Reqa city.
Al Ja’ouna area witnesses intensive attempts by ISIS to invade the camp to completely control it. The two sides are digging tunnels, ditches and opening the houses of the camps to escape the snipers bullets, they both plant explosive bombs and burn houses to stop the other side from going forward.
In Al Tadamoun area near Yarmouk camp, violent clashes broke out between Opposition forces and Regime forces in Nisreen Street “National Defense” near Al Iskan buildings.
