"Zaman Alwasl" Syrian newspaper activated and published through its website a service of searching the names of those who are wanted to the mandatory and reserve military service of the Regime forces. The service also includes those who did not join military service, in addition to the names of those who were sentenced in absentia provisions for not joining the regime's army by the Single military judge in the governorates of which they are from.
Activists said that lists include thousands of refugees who are opponents to the Syrian regime; names of Syrians and Palestinians Syrian who are wanted for the regime to be recruited in the army. The newspaper confirmed that the leaks obtained more than half a million names wanted for military service in the Syrian regime's army, including the Palestine Liberation Army in Syrian.
The leaks also included the names of Palestinians who escaped the military service and did not join the PLA, and confirmed the presence of names from different ages; some of them are outside Syria, and some others are still inside, noting that dozens of Army members had fled while serving during the war years in Syria.
This comes at a time when the Syrian regime and its security forces waging a massive campaign among young people to force them to join the army, while some Palestinian refugees escaped (migrated) to outside the borders of Syria. Other refugees escaped to the inside, to areas outside the Syrian regime's control, most of the remaining Palestinian youth in Syria prefer siege, shelling, and sniping to join the military service, according to a Palestinian refugee wanted for the compulsory military service.
The AGPS documented 749 victims among the Palestinian refugees died due to gun shot, while more than 150 victims among the PLA died since the beginning of the war in Syria.
