In Ukraine, the child Saleh Salam, 16 years, from Yarmouk got the title of "Peace Ambassador Child" by the International Federal for Children because of his humanitarian activities in collecting donations for the displaced children.
Saleh was born and lived as a refugee at the Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus and fled to Lebanon after the war in Syria and then he stayed in Ukraine. The refugee life and the misery that he lived with thousands of refugees let him help the children and alleviate their suffering.
Regarding his clear social interests, his school honored him as an activist besides he was distinguished to get the Peace Ambassador Child title by the International Federal for Peace Children, where only 15 children got this title all over the world.
