In the south of the capital Damascus, Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development continued, within Rajean campaign (4), distributing food baskets to the families of the Yarmouk refugee camp displaced to the town of Yalda, after census and audit carried out by the Commission for relief work for the Yarmouk people.
It is noteworthy that hundreds of Palestinian families had been displaced from the Yarmouk refugee camp following the storming of ISIS in the beginning of April (2015) in coordination with members of Nusra Front in Yarmouk. Many relief organizations working in the Yarmouk refugee camp were forced to stop their work after threats received from ISIS which is accused of assassinating a number of relief activists inside the camp.
