After Closing the Borders, Hundreds of Palestinians of Syria Suffer from Dire Conditions in Greece

Hundreds of Palestinian Syrian refugees, who are stranded in Greece, suffer of the very cruel situation after closing all roads between Greece and the European countries in their faces. It is noted that they risk their lives to reach Greece launching from the Turkish Shores. After closing the borders leading to Europe, they were obliged to stay in the temporary refugee shelters in Greece under very bad living situation where they suffer of the unavailability of the basic hygiene and needs. Most of the shelters are temporary houses or tents; moreover, they suffer of the spread of insects and poisonous reptiles such as snakes and scorpions and the absence of the relief services.

It is mentioned that the European Union adopted a strict policy regarding the refugee issue, especially on the Greek border, in addition to the agreement with Turkey to tighten and control the border and prevent immigration boats to sail towards Greece.
