In Lebanon, where the Palestinians of Syria Committee participated in a workshop held on July 14th in Al-Nabea Assembly at Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon; the workshop was about the protection of the camp's children.
Participants in the workshop discussed some issues related to the problems faced by the children of Ein Hilweh refugee camp and the Palestinian children displaced from Syria to the camp, as they also talked about the social, health and ethical problems and the ways and mechanisms to address them.
It is noteworthy that the number of Palestinian Syrian families inside the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp is 1400 families out of about 12 thousand Palestinian Syrian families who have fled to Lebanon to escape the war in Syria.
