Violent Clashes Broke out at the Yarmouk Municipality Area in Palestine Street

In the south of the capital Damascus, violent clashes broke out on Monday night in Yarmouk, especially the Yarmouk municipality area at Palestine Street, Al Mahkama area, and Al Rija square, where medium and heavy weapons were used.   

Violent clashes also broke out between the armed opposition groups and the pro-regime groups at Nisreen Street "National Defense" near Alameen bakery and the vicinity of Aliskan buildings at altadamon neighborhood adjacent to Yarmouk.

Meanwhile, besieged and displaced people of the Yarmouk camp are still suffering due to the ongoing conflict inside the camp, in addition to the restrictions of ISIS against the besieged residents inside the clashes area. They are also suffer due to the siege imposed by the Regular Army and the GC groups for 1127 consecutive days, power cut for more than 1188 days, and water cut for 677 days respectively.

The Syrian regime prevents the entry of food and medical aid, in addition to the return of residents to their homes.
