After neglecting the death of more than (3291) Palestinian refugees in Syria, including 209 children, and after ignoring a number of massacres that was committed against Palestinian refugees in Syria following bombing, blockade, and the direct targeting of Palestinian camps in Syria, the Palestinian embassy in Syria issued a press statement yesterday.
The statement condemned the crime committed by "Nour al-Din Al-Zanki movement" affiliated with the Syrian armed opposition, as they slaughtered Abdullah Issa, where the statement contradicted with the information published by the Syrian regime talking about Alissa is a 12-year- orphan Palestinian child, which was denied by multiple sources yesterday.
The Syrian opposition published photographs of Abdullah Issa yesterday, while he appeared in military uniform, in addition to the military identity card bearing his name and image and shows that he is 19 years old.
The AGPS confirmed that crimes of slaughtering and extrajudicial killings are condemned and contrary to the international and humanitarian law, regardless of nationality or age of the victim.
Activists accused the Palestinian embassy in Syria of politicizing the issue of the victim, "Abdullah Issa," and investing the incident to please the Syrian government in Damascus, and to support it. Activists said that the ignorance of the Palestinian embassy about the death of (3291) Palestinian refugees, the arrest of 1,100 others, and not condemning the death of more than (446) victims who died due to torture, confirms that the Palestinian embassy is seeking to invest the blood of the victim, "Abdullah al-Issa" in political goals.
The Palestinians of Syria had appealed the Palestinian embassy in Damascus tens of times to intervene for the release of the Palestinian detainees who are held by the Syrian regime, to end the siege of the Yarmouk refugee camp, and to stop the frequent shelling that targeted the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria, especially air strikes and explosive barrels, especially at Khan Al Shieh camp.
Meanwhile, Palestinian activists confirmed that the Palestinian embassy did not response in practical terms with any of those appeals.
