The Palestinian activist, "Abdullah al-Khatib," was injured after assassination attempt, as he was shot by unknown attackers near his home in Yalda town adjacent to the Yarmouk camp. He was shot in the hand and stomach with two bullets and was evacuated to a field hospital in the town. According to some activists in Yalda, he was slightly injured and his health status is stable.
It is noteworthy that Khatib was exposed to a failed kidnapping and assassination attempt inside the besieged Yarmouk camp before the storming of ISIS. He is an activist in the field of civil and relief society where he directs Basma social Foundation.
