Egyptian Authorities Continue Refusing the Palestinian Residency on its Territory

Palestinian Syrian refugees who were displaced to Egypt  due to the ongoing conflict in Syria confirmed that the Egyptian authorities refused to  give them the residency despite their existence in Egypt since many years and in spite of achieving all residency requirements in Egypt .

Under the economic difficulties that the Palestinian refugees are facing, 6000 Palestinian refugees moved to Egypt escaping the ongoing war in Syria, where many of them face difficulties to obtain a job due to the poor economy in Egypt in one side, and refugees inability to work intensively  because they do not have the residency  in the other side.

The Palestinians of Syrian complain of the weakness of the formal representation of them in Egypt, where many of the refugees assure - to the AGPS documentation team -   the Palestinian Embassy, PLO, and NGOs in Cairo are neglecting their legal aid and livelihood assistance.
