The Excellence Student, Ruba Shammout: There is Always Hope and this is My Message for all New Students in Sweden

In Sweden, where the 26-year- Palestinian Syrian young woman, Ruba Shammout, who arrived in Sweden less than three years ago, managed to join the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Malmo, Sweden, after she overcame obstacles of modifying certificates, study of language, and some complementary scientific subjects, at a time record. She will begin in the coming days the first days attending her courses in the university in Sweden.

Ruba talked to the AGPS about the obstacles encountered during the course of her study, saying "in Sweden, I had to start from the beginning in the Swedish language and in a practical level from high school to complete my missing items because they are not modified engineering degree, so n I chose another branch, pharmacy, which was a great desire for me."

I enrolled at (Sfi) school in the village of (Torpsbruk) and finished it in 3 months, then I received a grant from the school because I finished it in short time and then after I waited 4 months to Start Next chorus because the village start course every half a year and this was a great strain because I wanted to end my items quickly.

 I moved to the city of Hlsnbura, Thank God the situation is better in all respects, and within a year and a half I finished the required branch of pharmacy."

Fortunately, the first year begins in Malmo city adjacent to Hlsnbura and thus dissolved the problems (great stress and difficulty in Pharmacology Branch was not amended, thanks God, my rate is high and qualify me to enter the pharmacy, but for me, the difficulty was that this branch is few and in far universities so I chose another path leads to the same result in the same number of years.  I cannot move to Uppsala to study five years alone, or to study via the internet all years."

About joining the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ruba says "I chose pharmacy receptarie program, in Malmo, and then I will complete two-year Master in Umeå to relieve study pressure for five years.\

She also directed an important piece of advice for the people of her generation who are in Sweden, says, "I hope all students have to deal with the study here positively and to listen only to the stories of successful; psychological factor is very important, where I heard a lot that language is very difficult and seems to be waiting a long journey, while university acceptance is very difficult even if all the conditions achieved .

Thank God nothing of that happened... there are always a solution and a hope. This is my message for all students, our beautiful dreams deserve our appreciation and fatigue, and only you can achieve your dreams, especially in a country like Sweden who is sponsoring success and facilitate the way for all.
