Waqfiyat Al-Qibla Al-Oula for Quran Memorization honored the 9-year-child, Muna Muhsen Abdulrahman, from the Palestinian Syrians who were displaced to Beddawi camp. Muna was born blind, and her award is a special laptop with "Beryl" language for the blind. She was awarded for memorizing three parts of the Quran, during the conclusion of the contest held in the municipality of Sidon, south Lebanon.
It is noteworthy that the number of Palestinian refugees who came from Syria to Lebanon is 42 thousand refugees spread over all Palestinian areas and refugee camps. Their legal status is considered one of the most prominent suffering, as well as prevent them from working.
