The Syrian Security Arrests the Leader of Yarmouk Residents Movement Essam Betary after Exit for Negotiations

In the same context, the Syrian security forces of the regime in Palestine Branch arrested commander of Yarmouk Residents Movement of the " Al-Buraq Brigades," the Palestinian refugee "Essam Bitara" known as Abu Abed Essam, after he left to negotiate over the fate of the Yarmouk refugee camp of armed opposition controlled area south of the capital Damascus to the regime controlled areas in the capital, across Babila- Sidi Mekdad checkpoint.

Activists quoted from a military source in one of the armed opposition groups, that "Abu Abed" came out to negotiate with the Syrian regime with a guarantee of a civic institutions and a working military entities earlier in the Yarmouk camp.

The source added that the operation coordinator and sponsor for the exit of "Abu Abed" to "Palestine Branch" is called "Abu Mohammad Beheiri," an official of Aknaf Bait Almaqdis Brigades in the south of Damascus.

The movement had announced, 10 days ago, that it abandoned Nusra and withdraw its members from Rija square to the ISIS controlled areas inside the Yarmouk camp. Essam Albitar, Abu Alabed, a leader of Yarmouk Residents Movement-Buraq brigades- in a statement was published on their official website, that the movement abandoned Nusra came under the pretext of opposition to the agreement with the regular army. The agreement stated the withdrawal of its members towards Idlib city and emptying the region of fighters, weapons, and to left it to an unknown fate. The other reason was because of the refusal of Nusra to hand over Rabat points in Rijh to the movement and support it with weapons, pointing to the desire of the movement to stay within the Yarmouk refugee camp and defend it.
