An official source of the PLO in Damascus denied statements made by the President of the Civic Council in Yarmouk, Fawzi Hamid, about the imminent agreement between the PLO, the Syrian government, and ISIS about lifting the siege of the Yarmouk refugee camp south of Damascus.
Commenting on Hamid, an official in the PLO said that the organization had no knowledge with any information said by Mr. Fawzi Hamid about this agreement."
Hamid spoke about an imminent agreement between the PLO, the Syrian government, and ISIS about lifting the siege on the Yarmouk refugee camp, and expected to be signed and announced in two days, noting that the agreement consists of five main points, namely:
A cease-fire in the camp, in all its forms
Prevention of violence in neighboring areas, including Altadamon neighborhood
Opening a safe passage in Yarmouk from Palestine Street
Facilitating the entry of all kinds of aid into the Yarmouk refugee camp to subsistence Center
Facilitating the entry and exit of citizens, and not to arrest any person under any circumstance
