The Palestinian refugee, Ghasan Safouri, from Nairab camp in Aleppo, a member of Alquds brigade, died during clashes that broke out in the vicinity of Handarat camp between the regular army alongside Alquds brigade on the one hand and the Syrian armed opposition groups on the other hand.
Many residents of Nairab camp died while fighting within Alquds brigade at Handarat fighting. The brigade contains Palestinian refugees from Nairab camp, fighters from Handarat camp, and fighters from Aleppo and its western and southern suburb. The headquarters of Alquds brigade is in Nairab camp, and a branch was opened at Al Raml camp in Lathakeia.
