The Syrian armed opposition factions operating in Khan Al Shieh compound issued a statement announcing the absence of any headquarters inside Khan Al Shieh camp. The AGPS received a copy of the statement which confirmed that the Syrian opposition factions committed to neutralizing civilians from all sides of fighting between them and the Syrian regime.
Those factions pledged to the people of Khan Al Shieh camp to maintain the safety and security by not appearing armed inside the camp, and they will not enter the military cars to the camp.
It is noteworthy that people of Khan Al Shieh camp in the western Ghouta of the capital Damascus, stressed the need to neutralize the camp for the ongoing conflict in Syria, and stressed that the camp, which houses about 12 thousand people, as well as hundreds of displaced people fleeing from the towns and cities of western Ghouta, such as Muadamiyat al-Sham, and Daria because of the deteriorating security situation there, is free of any military presence or appearances.
