The Syrian security forces arrested three Palestinian refugees from Al Aedein camp in Homs during the past few days, including a former UNRWA teacher, and an official of Baath party.
The detainees are:
Medyan Subhi Sarhan “Abu Mohammed,” who was arrested on August 12 by members of Hos-Tartous checkpoint of the regular army. He was arrested while delivering some passengers from Al Aedein camp in Homs to the coast of Tartous city; he is a member of GC, in his fifties, and originally from Al Shajara village in Palestine.
The Palestinian refugee, Moayad Riyad Awad, in his thirties, and originally from Al Shajara village in Palestine.
On 11-8-2016, the Syrian security forces raided the house of Mohammed Salayma “Abu Almajd,” and arrested him while returning back from Sweden to Al Aedein camp in Homs in charges of travelling to Turkey then to Sweden illegally.
It is mentioned that he was an official of Baath party and a former UNRWA teacher; he is in his eighties, and originally from Al Shajara village in Palestine.
The residents of Al Aedeinn camp in Homs are suffering of great difficulties practiced by members of the Syrian security detachment which implements campaigns of arrest, inspection, and auditing of IDs of passers between now and then. They also impose royalties which forces the residents to migrate outside the country.
