Al Wafaa Relief foundation opened a charity kitchen to distribute some meals to the besieged residents in the Yarmouk camp, in an attempt to alleviate the strict siege consequences, especially for children and elderly people. The organization provides some quantities of food supplies from the neighboring areas and cooked it to be distributed to the residents. It is mentioned that 163 Palestinian refugees died due to the siege consequences; such as the lack of medical care and the malnutrition.
