Seven PLA members died during violent clashes in Damacus Suburb. Social Media pages, which are closed to PLA, published that Alaa Ali Al Haj,the First Lieutenant, Mohanned Humeed Abdullah, Honor Lieutenant, Mustafa Mohammed Hawwari, Honor Lieutenant, from Handarat Camp, Mohammed Naser falah, Deyaa Mohammed Ahmed, Mohammed fathi Bru, and Ahmed Zuher Shaban died during the clashes, which broke out in Tal Sowan in Adra City between the Syrian Army alongside the affiliated groups and the Opposition. A number of PLA recruits from Khan Danoun Camp were injured during clashes.
Major General Tariq Al Khadra’, the PLA Chief of Staff, insured that PLA is fighting alongside the Syrian Army since the beginning of the ongoing war in Syria in more than 15 locations in Daraa Suburbs, Al Sowayda, Damascus, Al Zabadani, Adra, Al Maliha, Jober, Al Madameyya, and Tal Kurdi. It is noted that the Palestinian refugees in Syria are obliged to join the military service in PLA, and everyone who doesn’t join , will be subjected to chase and jail. Many members left the army and joined the Opposition to fight the Syrian Regime.
It is worthy to mention that the death toll in the Palestinian Liberation Army reached 173, excluding the members who left to fight against and died in clashes with the regime or due to torture in the Syrian prisons, according to AGPS.
