A Leader of Burag Brigades in Yarmouk was Released after being Detained for 35 Days

Essam Bitari, known as Abu Abed Essam, leader of the “People of Yarmouk Movement-  Buraq Brigades in the Yarmouk camp, declared through Facebook, that he was released by the Syrian security on 5 / September / 2016 after being detained for 35 days.

Abu Abed did not give any other details of how he was arrested, as he did not mention how he was treated during his detention.

The Syrian security forces of the regime in "Palestine Branch" arrested him on August 1, 2016 after he left from the armed opposition controlled areas south of the capital Damascus to areas controlled by the regime through Babila- Sidi Mekdad checkpoint in order to negotiate over the fate of the Yarmouk refugee camp.

Activists then transfer news through a military source in one of the armed opposition groups, that "Abu Abed" came out to negotiate with the Syrian regime guaranteed by a civic institution and a working military entities earlier in the Yarmouk camp.

The People of Yarmouk Movement-al-Buraq Brigades announced to abandon Nusra Front and to Withdraw from Rija square towards ISIS controlled areas inside the Yarmouk camp.

Esam Albitar, confirmed in a statement, that was published through his Facebook account, that People of Yarmouk Movement abandoned Nusra against the background of its opposition to the agreement with the regular army. The agreement states the withdrawal of its members towards Idlib city, to clear the region of fighters and weapons, and to left to an unknown fate. The abandon also came because of Nusra refusal to hand Rabat points in Rijh and support the movement with wapons, pointing to the desire of the movement to stay within the Yarmouk refugee camp and defend it.
