Warplanes targeted the vicinity of the high school at Khan Al Shieh Camp, in addition to the, surrounding farms near Mansheya area. The shelling resulted in massive destruction in homes and properties, and a state of panic and terror among civilians who complain about the continued targeting of the camp, although it is free of weapons and militants.
This comes in light of the escalation of the repeated bombing that target the camp and its surroundings with different types of heavy weapons from air and artillery bombardments which target the region frequently. The surrounding farms and towns have been targeted almost daily by explosive barrels and artillery shells.
Residents of the camp are suffering from miserable humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing deterioration of the security situation in the farms and surrounding areas, in light of the continuation of the regular army checkpoint to close roads hyphen between the camp and the center of the capital, Damascus.
