"Abdullah Al Khatib" an activist wins "Per Anger", a Swedish prize for human rights

In Europe, The Living History Forum (in Swedish, Forum för levande historia) granted" Per Anger prize" for the year 2016, a Swedish prize for human rights, to the Palestinian Syrian activist "Abdullah Al Khatib" (27) years because of his brave struggle for human rights in Syria; he documents all the violations during the ongoing war putting himself in imminent danger and speaks for weak people.

The "Per Anger" prize will be handed in a special ceremony on Thursday 20 October.

The Palestinian Syrian Abdullah Al Khatib is considered to be one of the activists in Yarmouk and south Damascus. He has supervised different educational projects, survived form two attempts of kidnap, was injured after an attempt of assassination and his father is arrested because of his activities.
