A number of students in Yarmouk went to the nomination exams for high school certificate for the year 2016-2017. They went to "Said al-Ass" and "Palestine" Institutes in Damascus despite the fierce clashes between ISIS and Al- Nusra Front.
It's worth noting that the struggle in Syria still affects negatively on Palestinian refugees' education. It limits a lot of education opportunities for children and youngmen. Fearing of death or arrest are the main obstacles that prevented high school students' from pursuing their education.
