A number of Yarmouk citizens who live in Yalda was protesting against the Syrian siege on Yarmouk and southern area of Damascus. They called UNRWA and PLO to assume their responsibilities towards Palestinian refugees in Syria especially people of Yarmouk. Moreover, there were demands for bread and humanitarian convoys.
In different context, there were serious clashes between Syrian regime and its affiliates against opposition groups around Yarmouk municipality, Yarmouk high school, Sabbareen and Carmel schools in Palestine St.
It's important to mention that ISIS had handed Carmel school, one of UNRWA schools, to "Free Palestine Movement", which is allied with Syrian regime, without bloodshed.
