The regime-led Shilka tanks deployed in Al-Kabousiya Hill targeted civilian homes in Khan Al-Shih’s western corners with randomly-shot spates of machinegun fire, resulting in serious material damage. A state of panic overwhelmed women and children in the process. Regime fighter aircrafts also struck the adjacent ranches and towns with a wave of explosive barrels.
According to an AGPS news correspondent, violent clashes erupted in the area between opposition outfits and the regime squads after the latter attempted to roll into the territory and hold sway over it.
