83 Palestinians killed outside of Syria until the end of September 2016

AGPS documented the death of 83 Palestinian-Syrian refugees, scattered across 12 countries, between 2011 and September 2016 while on their way out of Syria. The death toll includes 17 refugees in Libya, 15 refugees in Egypt, 14 in Lebanon, 12 in Turkey, eight in Greece, six in Malta, three in the occupied Palestinian territories, three in Italy, and two in Germany. Three more refugees died in Sweden, Cyprus, and Macedonia.

The number of Palestinian-Syrian refugees killed since the outbreak of the Syrian warfare has hit 3,380. Shelling and clashes topped the list of leading causes of death, followed by blasts, the blockade, torture, and drowning.
