PLA reportedly involved in onslaughts and blockade on Khan Al-Shih

Reports emerged in Damascus outskirts on the involvement of units from the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) in the ongoing offensives and the blockade on Khan Al-Shih Camp for Palestinian refugees. Pro-regime PLA units have reportedly been assisting the government forces in tightening the noose around refugees’ neck in the area.

Families of PLA officers and enlisted refugee recruits in Syria have often voiced their firm rebuff of underway attempts to drag their children into ongoing hostilities. Several Palestinian refugees refused mandatory military enlistment and have sought asylum in other countries for fear of being kidnapped and killed.
