The Islamic Relief Association for Orphans and Poor (IRAOP), established in 1948 Occupied Palestine, handed out cash aids to over 500 displaced Palestinian refugee families in Mersin, Adana, Hatay, Gaziantep, and Urfa, among other Turkish provinces.
IRAOP also paid field visits to southern and western Turkish provinces so as to keep tabs on the living conditions endured by the Palestinians of Syria with the advent of winter season.
According to unofficial data, 6,000 to 8,000 Palestinian-Syrian refugees have been taking shelter in Istanbul, among other provinces in central and southern Turkey.
