Shelling rocks blockaded Yarmouk Camp

Reports emerged from southern Damascus on three blasts rocking the blockaded Yarmouk Camp on Thursday evening. Sporadic clashes reportedly flared up in Fatah Al-Sham-led areas.

On Wednesday, areas controlled by Fatah Al-Sham outfits in the camp were struck with mortar shells.

Meanwhile, the Syrian regime militias hit al-Rija Square with 14.5 mm and 23 mm heavy machine gun.

ISIS gangs have cordoned off Al-Rija Square and its surrounding areas, along with Ein Ghazal neighborhood and Haifa Street in Yarmouk camp after they closed off the main thoroughfare into Fatah Al-Sham-led areas. Food items have rarely been allowed entry into the camp in an attempt to force Fatah Al-Sham Front to throw in the towel.

Syrian government forces and the Popular Front – General Command have also kept a tight rein on the camp for 1,248 days in row. Meanwhile power and water supplies to the camp has been cut off respectively for 1,307 and 768 days.
