4 Palestinians released after being detained for one month by ISIS militias in southern Syria

AGPS correspondent said ISIS militias released four Palestinians sheltered in Khan Al-Sheih Camp after they had been detained for over one month in the ISIS-led Rajm al-Baqar area, in Al-Sweida’s northeastern outskirts, to the south of Syria. The four refugees were nabbed on their way to turkey via the Syrian Badiya (desert).

AGPS identified the newly unshackled youths as: Omar Sleiman, Khaled Sleiman, Amar Aziz, and Khaled Hussein.

ISIS militias reportedly turned down appeals to release another youth sheltered in the camp for unknown reasons.

Smugglers have often taken Al-Badiya Road to reach out to Turkey from southern Syria for fear of being kidnapped or killed at government checkpoints pitched across Syrian provinces.
