In another development, AGPS on Friday evening took part in cultural events staged by the Palestinian Cultural Home in the Swedish city of Helsingborg on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.
An exhibition showcasing the tragedy endured by the Palestinians of Syria as a result of the uncontrollable warfare was put on display. Figures documenting the death of 3,400 refugees and the abduction of 1,100 others since the outburst of hostilities in Syria were also put on view.
An exhibition by the Palestinian artist Yahya Ashmawi, displaced from Yarmouk Camp, further featured in the event, which was attended by dozens of Swedish nationals and Palestinian asylum-seekers.
