2,000 refugees displaced from Khan Al-Sheih to Idlib

Some 2,000 refugees sheltered in Khan Al-Sheih Camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus outskirts reached the northern Syrian city of Idlib, controlled by the opposition outfits.

Several activists, charity delegates, and civilians were forced out of the camp over the past couple of days as a deal struck between the Syrian government forces and the opposition fighters was put into effect.

In another development, the Syria government forces struck the Deraa Camp for Palestinian refugees, in southern Syria, with artillery shells, and the adjacent Al-Sadd Road with a ground-to-ground missile, inflicting heavy material damage on civilian homes.

70% of civilian homes and structures in Deraa have been knocked down by the unabated blitzes.
