AGPS took part in an international symposium hosted by "Commission 302 to Defend Refugee Rights" (El-Hayya 302) , in partnership with few Lebanon-based and foregn NGOs on December 6, 2016.
Head of AGPS Department of Studies, Ibrahim Al-Ali, joined the seminar, presented a paper entitled “UNRWA and Palestinian-Syrian Refugees inside and outside of Syria: Facts and Challenges.”
The paper covered the situation of the Palestinians of Syria in the Syrian territories as well as in the countries of new asylum, most notably Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and blockaded Gaza.
It further tacked the role played by UNRWA in such areas as Turkey, Egypt, and Europe, which exist outside the agency’s fields of operations.
