Medical delegation provides checks up for Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon

The Syrian American Medical Society Foundation (SAMS), in partnership with MABS organization, announced the launch of its medical program for the displaced Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon.

Sick refugees diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases, vision disorders, urinary and blood problems, tumors, and infections are expected to undergo checks up.

Patients can register online to benefit from the medical mission or submit their applications in SAMS centers in Tripoli, Akkar, Arsal, and Bekaa.

The Association of Humanitarian Cooperation in Lebanon also announced Friday, December 9, 2016, a free medical day in Sidon clinics for children and for refugees diagnosed with diabetes, digestive disorders, and blood-related diseases, including anemia, leukemia, and thalassemia.

According to unofficial data, 33,000 Palestinian-Syrian refugees are taking shelter in Lebanon.
