Reporting from Rural Damascus, AGPS field correspondent said the government battalions notified the local reconciliation committee of their intent to carry out a large-scale search campaign against civilian homes at Khan Al-Sheih Camp.
The move comes at a time when troops from the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA) have imposed a tight military cordon in and around the camp and grabbed hold of a civilian home in favor of military use. Other pro-government outfits have turned civilian homes in the camp into military barracks.
