Residents of the Hums-based Al-Aydeen Camp have launched a cry for help over the dire socio-economic conditions they have been made to endure due to the price leap, fuel and food shortage, and the bad weather conditions rocking the MENA region.
Shopkeepers have also spoken out against the heavy losses inflicted by the frequent power outages.
The situation has gone far worse due to the civilians’ inability to secure fuel and gas reserves with the advent of winter, along with the high unemployment rates and decline in the refugees’ purchasing power.
