The Palestine Charity Commission in southern Damascus wrapped up its “Warm Winter” relief mission in the blockaded Yarmouk Camp and the nearby Yalda and Babilla towns.
Half a ton of firewood was distributed by the commission to 1,100 displaced families.
Elderly refugees, orphans, wounded and diseased persons, among other humanitarian cases, received heating allowances. The commission also installed heaters for a number of families.
