Hundreds of displaced Palestinian families who fled to Al-Dukhaniya, Al-Kabas, and Dweil’a, in eastern Damascus, have been subjected to severe socio-economic crises due to unemployment and high rental fees.
The displaced families urged the UNRWA, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), and the Palestinian factions to take up their duties vis-à-vis the crisis and take urgent action in order to secure civilians’ safe access to their shelters in such refugee camps as Al-Sbeina and Yarmouk.
