UNRWA announced that the 2017 cash assistance will be handed out to the Palestinians of Syria as of January 15 and wrapped up on March 16.
In a Facebook statement, UNRWA said it will hand out 49,5000 Syrian Liras as a regular cash assistance per every single refugee , with an increase of 16,500 SL from last year. Those registered with UNRWA and housed in its shelters will receive 25,000 per every single family member.
Text messages specifying the time and place of the delivery process will be sent to the targeted beneficiaries.
Further clarification on the affair is available in UNRWA offices in Damascus, Homs, Hama, Latakia, Aleppo and Deraa.
